Key Dates, Times for Bridgeport High School Students for Upcoming School Year Announced by DeFazio

Bridgeport High School Principal Mark DeFazio has announced several key events involving students for the upcoming 2015-16 school year. Among the information listed below are dates to acquire parking passes, schedule changes and freshman and new student orientation.
According to DeFazio, parking passes can be acquired by seniors from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, August 2 in the BHS Library. Juniors can obtain parking passes Sunday, August 9 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., also in the library.
On August 12, there will be new student and freshman orientation. The orientation runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and registration is not required.
Changes in students’ schedules can be made on the following days:
- Seniors, August 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Juniors, August 4 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Sophomores, August 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Freshmen, August 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Individuals will need to call and make appointments for schedule changes during the times listed above. To make an appointment, call the school at 304-326-7137. DeFazio added that and informational letter and schedules will be mailed out July 30.
