Johnson Elementary fifth graders Audrie Sprouse and Annamarie Pinti won second place in the West Virginia’s State Social Studies Fair held at the Civic Center in Charleston on Friday, April 11, 2014.  The girls’ project was “The Government Shutdown of 2013” which was centered around all aspects of the government shutdown including economic effects and personal accounts of the shutdown. Audrie is the daughter of Doug and Kim Sprouse and Annamarie is the daughter of Steve and Cara Pinti.
