WVU Board of Governors Meeting Today to Consider Closing WVU Tech Campus in Montgomery

According to MetroNews.com, the WVU Board of Governors will consider a proposal Tuesday to close WVU Tech in Montgomery within two years and move its programs to the new WVU Beckley 40 miles away.
WVU Tech’s faculty, staff and students were told of the proposal in meetings with WVU President Gordon Gee and campus president Carolyn Long Monday afternoon. The BOG is scheduled to meet at noon Tuesday in Morgantown.
