The first Community Dinner of Bridgeport Farmer Market's 2014 season is Monday and there's still room at the table for you.

 

A St Patrick’s Day Irish Feast takes place 6 p.m. Monday, March 17 at Bridgeport Conference Center. The Conference Center staff will prepare the meal using all local ingredients. Tickets are $20 each and must be purchased in advance by calling 304-669-4340 or emailing bridgeportfarmersmarket@yahoo.com. 

 

All proceeds benefit the market and will help get the sixth regular season started on May 18. 

 

There will be music by local musicians and a cash bar. 

 

Following Monday's dinner, three more Community Dinners will be held in 2014. A summer picnic - date to be announced - will precede dinners on Sept. 22 and Nov. 12.
