Farmers Market to Remain Open Through Oct. 9

For many, Labor Day Weekend is the “unofficial” end of the summer.
That notion however does not apply to the outdoor season of the Bridgeport Farmers Market.
The Market will once again be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Sunday at its Charles Pointe location and will be open for several more Sundays (through Oct. 9) at the same time.
The usual vendors, both food and artisan, will be on hand each Sunday through Oct. 9. Some of course will be adding more fall related items such as Shipley’s Forest Hill Farm is now accepting orders for turkeys which will be delivered the first weekend in November.

The popular music duo of Key to Adam will be back to perform at this week’s Market.
