This is a photo of the dedication of the former Bridgeport City Building, that also served as a home to the police department, from April 24, 1993. Anyone remember when drug stores used to also be home to ice cream shops? That was the case nationwide and locally, as this photo from 1970 shows. This is the Harbert's Drug Store Ice Cream Bar. Harbert's was located for years along Fourth Street in downtown Clarksburg.
