The photo shows above is at All Saints Catholic Church, which is located on Main Street in downtown Bridgeport. The photo is from 1965 and the event that is taking place is unknown, as are the individuals shown. This stadium was once a hot bed for baseball activity in the state of West Virginia, but no longer stands. At the time, as the sign shows, the stadium in Charleston was home to the Charleston Charlies minor league baseball team. Many from the state and beyond saw the Charlies and other contests at the field.
