By Dick Duez on September 05, 2021 from History Blog via Connect-Bridgeport.com

Anyone remember this attention-grabbing billboard? It was located by Rish Equipment, which today is the Bridgeport Municipal Complex and was for as it shows, Producers Golden Guernsey Dairy.
This photo is from 1960 and shows the time period when downtown Clarksburg was booming with business. Sears is shown with its location near the corner of Second and Main Street, while the Palace Furniture Company is shown fronting Main Street as its neighbor. Both have long sense ceased operations.

Editor's Note: This ongoing photo feature of pictures from Bridgeport and throughout the Mountain State is part of local historian Richard "Dick" Duez's collection. , the unofficial historian of Bridgeport, would appreciate any scanned photos emailed to him for use here or to include in his ongoing effortsDuez to preserve local history.
