Do any of these young ladies look familiar? You may know a few of them in this picture taken by Tom Mellott in 2003. The freshman cheerleading group shown includes, front row from left, Whitney Andrew, Cortney Hitt, Marissa Spatafore, Logan Bryant, Danielle Cunningham, and Tavia Blount. Second row, from left, is Sarah Hoover, Shilyn Irwin, Jackie Kapp, Lindsey Compton, Megan Cunningham, and Sarah Marsh. This is from the Wendy's Cheer Classic Invitational that was held in Upshur County. The coaches fo the squad were Debbie Nicholson and Kristi Knight.

There was plenty of last minute purchases made decades ago for the holidays as this photo shows. This shows customers looking for items at the G.C. Murphy location five days prior to Christmas at the Morgantown location. The date of the photo is unknown, but it's likely from the 1950s.
