Back row are, from left, Kelsey Hillegas, Jessie Kerns, Victoria Giffen, Emily Mazzei, Presley Stein, Maria Matheny, Meranda Herd, Miranda Kerns, Kalee Trippett, Katherine Grisso, Natalie Hathaway, Natalie LaRoas, Jesicca Trickett, Bethany Andrew, and Chelsea Eades. The coaches for the squad were Susie Gorby and assistants Anne Marsh and Buffie Blackshire.

At one time, Salem International University was Salem College and fielded a pretty good football program. This photo, believed to be from 1988, shows a full Catalano Memorial Stadium that was dedicated in honor of Don Catalano on Nov. 3, 1973. The field is still there today, although the football program ceased operations decades ago. The complex is two miles from the main campus and seated 2,800.
