Police Chief John Diamond is among those pictured and they are in the area that now is the parking lot of the Bridgeport looking toward U.S. Route 50. This photo, from 1948, is along U.S. Route 50 east of Bridgeport. It shows the Taylor County Fairgrounds. Does anyone have any memories of this once prominent fair?
