By Dick Duez on August 09, 2020 from History Blog via Connect-Bridgeport.com

This photo, from the 1982 Ki-Cu-Wa Yearbook, shows members of a Bridgeport High School gifted class that met four days a week in the school library. To qualify, the students took a test given by Harrison County psychologists and these nine qualified. Do you recognize anyone here? If so, feel free to add their names in the comment section below.
St. James Church used to have a basketball team. This photo, from Jennifer Brunetti Schellenberg, shows the 1958 team and the coaches. Feel free to mention anyone you recognize in the comments section below.

Editor's Note: This ongoing photo feature of pictures from Bridgeport and throughout the Mountain State is part of local historian Richard "Dick" Duez's collection. Duez, the unofficial historian of Bridgeport, would appreciate any scanned photos emailed to him for use here or to include in his ongoing efforts to preserve local history.
