This photo is from The Bridgeport Leader newspaper in March of 1982 and it shows the 1981-82 Harrison County Junior High basketball champion Bridgeport Middle School Braves coached by Al Laska, standing left, and assisted by Art Petitto, standing right. BJHS got a first round bye before beating Notre Dame 45-14 in the semifinals and Washington Irving by a 35-30 score in the finals to get the crown. Do you see any players you know? This may look familiar to some folks. It's Main Street in Thomas, WV, and although this photo is from many decades ago, there is still plenty of activity along this stretch of roadway.
