Time Travel: Bridgeport Kindergarten Students from Decades Ago and Downtown Clarksburg in the 1960s

By Dick Duez on January 28, 2024 from History Blog via Connect-Bridgeport.com

Here's one that a little bit of help could be useful on. This is believed to be a late 1960s or early 1970s photo of a Kindergarten class at the Bridgeport United Methodist Church. If you see anyone you know, add it to the comment section below.
This is what Third Street and Pike Street's intersection in downtown Clarksburg looked like in the 1960s. The business on the corner appears to be the Maunz shop. Any others anyone can identify?

Editor's Note: This ongoing photo feature of pictures from Bridgeport and throughout the Mountain State is part of local historian Richard "Dick" Duez's collection, the unofficial historian of Bridgeport, would appreciate any scanned photos emailed to him for use here or to include in his ongoing efforts to preserve local history. You can email photos, or let him know how to acquire copies of photos you may have in your possession, to Duez at dickdo@citynet.net.
