The others in the picture, outside of Bridgeport Police Chief Jack Clayton in the back row, are unknown. Women's basketball has come a long way from when this photo was taken in 1939. The picture, from the West Virginia Regional & History Center, shows the Alderson-Broaddus basketball team. It is not certain if those are practice or team outfits they're wearing, but certainly shows the changes made from the sports earlier days.
