Here is a look at the old C&H Market that was located on Main Street and served the community for years. The business, which was located across the road from the old Bridgeport Bank building, is shown in a 1962 photo. 

This photo, courtesy of and taken by Steve Brightwell, shows the late Donna Douglas, better known to most as Elly Mae Clampett of the show The Beverly Hillbillies. This is from the late 1990s at the Stawberry Festival in Buckhannon, likely 1999, and that is Bridgeport resident Mike Queen on the left and the late Gov. Cecil Underwood on the right.
