Time Travel: City Pool Staff from 21 Years Ago and an Aerial View from 1970 of Clarksburg's Hite Field

By Dick Duez on March 25, 2018 from History Blog via Connect-Bridgeport.com

This photo from 1997, courtesy of Don Burton, shows the Bridgeport City  Pool lifeguard and concession staff, along with Bobby Taylor in the middle of the diving board. If you know who is pictured here, please put in the comment section below.
It still stands today, but the football action is limited to what it was when it was one of the only fields in the area. This is an aerial look at Hite Field around 1970. If you have any memories of this field from then and even today, feel free to add them below in the comment section.

Editor's Note: This ongoing photo feature of pictures from Bridgeport and throughout the Mountain State is part of local historian Richard
"Dick" Duez's collection. Duez, the unofficial historian of Bridgeport, would appreciate any scanned photos emailed to him for use here or to include in his ongoing efforts to preserve local history. You can email photos, or let him know how to acquire copies of photos you may have in your possession, to Duez at dick.do@frontier.com.
