The date is unknown on this photo but it dates back to the old cinder track and pre-turf days at Bridgeport High School, which almost certainly is prior to 2000. The entrance to Bridgeport High School, on the far let, is no longer there. Johnson Elementary is also no longer in that location as it has become a parking lot to feed the new school that would be just to the right of this photo. The baseball field, top right corner, is also no longer there. Anyone see anything else that has changed or knows the approximate date of this photo please include in the comment section below.

This photo is is almost 65 years old. The 1962 photo shows what is likely a downtown section of Webster Springs. Webster Springs is one of the most beautiful counties - among plenty - in West Virginia.
