By Dick Duez on June 26, 2022 from History Blog via Connect-Bridgeport.com

Recognize this iconic restaurant? If you're from Bridgeport or much of North Central West Virginia you may not recognize this version of hte building, but you know the eatery. This is a photo from Twin Oaks from the 1950s and remains, today, as one of the most popular eating establishments in the area.
This is the 1981-82 Central Junior High School boys' basketball team that was coach by Bob Beto, standing back row left. See anyone you recognize? If so, put them in the comment section below.

Editor's Note: This ongoing photo feature of pictures from Bridgeport and throughout the Mountain State is part of local historian Richard "Dick" Duez's collection, the unofficial historian of Bridgeport, would appreciate any scanned photos emailed to him for use here or to include in his ongoing efforts Duez to preserve local history. You can email photos, or let him know how to acquire copies of photos you may have in your possession, to Duez at dickdo@citynet.net.
