This photo was sent to us several months ago. Although the individual sending it wasn't sure if it was a fifth or sixth grade photo, one of the individuals shown in the photo - Bridgeport's John Pulice - believes it to be a 5th grade photo from Simpson Elementary. Pulice added the photo is of Mrs. Armbrister's class and is from the 1970s. If you have additional information or believe that may not be correct, feel free to add a comment below. The Emeralds performed around the region in the 1960s. Does anyone recall the group playing at the Benedum Civic Center? If you have any memories of this band - or know the members shown here - add them in the comment section below.
