The man on the right if the late Carl Furbee having a laugh and a piece of cake. This photo, believed to be from the mid 1990s is also believed to be from one of the first Michael Benedum Festival events held in Bridgeport. The photo was provided by Ruth Allen. This photo, from the West Virginia Regional & History Center, shows country music star Roy Acuff, third from left, inside the Clarksburg WPDX studios. The date is unknown, but could be from the 1940s or 1950s. The other three individuals were not named, but the photo was acquired for the center from Chris Kidwell.
