By Dick Duez on July 02, 2023 from History Blog via Connect-Bridgeport.com

The exact date of this photo is unknown, but it is showing a pair of Bridgeport educators. Although not 100 percent certain, the woman to the right of the photo is believed to to Beulah Wycoff or Wyckoff who was a history teacher at the high school. As for the teacher on the left, itis not definitive. It is thought it could be a Miss Bober, Miss  White, or even Miss Talkington. If anyone has a definitive answer, please put in the comment section below.
This photo, from the West Virginia & Regional History Center, shows Jerry West, sitting far left, with the rest of his prep teammates that were part of the East Bank High School team in the mid-1950s. West is arguably the most famous athlete in West Virginia's history.
