Time Travel: Rocking Out with Local Musicians, Band at BHS and Old Bridgeport Hill Gulf Gas Station

By Dick Duez on December 30, 2018 from History Blog via Connect-Bridgeport.com

This band may have been featured before as they feature some of the same young men. This appears to be a performance at the high school and shows standing (and this may be incorrect) who we believe to be, from left, Roger Nichols, Roger Stoneking and Mike Hess. Also, it may be Robert Baltzley on the drums. If you have correct or any additional information about this photo, feel free to comment below.
Anyone remember the old Gulf Service Station on old Bridgeport Hill? It was located near the Colonial Inn and the old Parkette. This photo is likely from the 1950s. The identities of those pictured is not known, but if  you know who they are add them in the comment section below.

Editor's Note: This ongoing photo feature of pictures from Bridgeport and throughout the Mountain State is part of local historian Richard
"Dick" Duez's collection. Duez, the unofficial historian of Bridgeport, would appreciate any scanned photos emailed to him for use here or to include in his ongoing efforts to preserve local history. You can email photos, or let him know how to acquire copies of photos you may have in your possession, to Duez at dick.do@frontier.com.
