Bridgeport was part of history several decades ago as this picture shows. A runner is shown carrying the Olympic torch along Main Street in a year that is unknown. If anyone is certain of the date, please add it in the comment section below.

This photo shows East Fairmont High School in the 1920s. Today, the site is home to a middle school.
