This photo shows Mayor Dick Cutlip and well-known resident Margaret Merrells in 1954. Although it's unknown where they're at or going, it's likely a special event. Merrells appears to be holding a microphone.

Decades ago, this was the main form of transportation between Clarksburg and Grafton.
