Does anyone recognize these two young ladies in a picture taken in front of the old Micheal Benedum House that is now the Benedum Civic Center on Main Street in Bridgeport. The photo, provided by Jim Kinney, is believed to be from 1950. If you know who they are, feel free to add their names to the comment section below.

For decades, this was the field where West Virginia University played their football games starting back in 1924. In 1979, its life came to an end and in 1987 that old field was razed. WVU's Life Sciences building inhabits the area of the north stands, and the Business and Economics building inhabits the south area.
