New York Times Bestselling Authors Daleen Berry and Geoffrey Fuller will be special guests at Bridgeport Public Library next week. From 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, the writers of “The Savage Murder of Skylar Neese” and “Pretty Little Killers” will be on hand to discuss their work.

“This is our grand finale for our summer reading program for adults,” said Sarah Nora, library technician and event organizer. “The program focused on mysteries, thrillers and forensic science so we thought we would end it with this local case.”

Both Fuller and Berry are published authors who have penned other books, Nora said.

“Geoffrey Fuller wrote a fictional account to a WVU coed murder in the 1970s called ‘Full Bone Moon’ – which we have in the library – and Daleen Berry’s other book is ‘Sister of Silence,’ a memoire,” she said.

The writers came together to work on the Skylar Neese case – work which manifested into two books, the first in eBook format only and the second a paperback, released July 8.

The event can be attended free of charge, but seating is limited. Tickets can be obtained at Bridgeport Public Library beginning at 3 p.m. July 29.

“Those ticket holders will be first in line to meet with the authors to have copies of the newest book, ‘Pretty Little Killers,’ autographed,” Nora said.

Berry and Fuller will address attendees at 5 p.m. Refreshments will be available to ticket holders beginning at 6:45 p.m. and a book signing will follow through 8 p.m. Those unable to obtain tickets for the main event are welcome to the signing, Nora said.

Questions can be directed to Nora at 304-842-8248.
