The opportunity to learn about the Civilian Conservation Corps is one of the many activities planned for the Bridgeport Public Library in March.

 

As part of the library’s Live & Learn series, “Remembering the Amazing CCC” will take place at 2 p.m on March 24. Dr. Robert (Bob) E. Anderson has organized the event and registration is required.

 

Anderson, a renowned author, will also take part in a book signing event later the same day, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

 

Anderson has written 14 books including “Written on the Land” a pictorial history of the CCC. He was also instrumental in starting the CCC museum located in the two-room schoolhouse in Quiet Dell.
