The library launches a NEW monthly film event for adults on Friday, March 25, 2016, 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. Kids’ and Teen Movie Nights are popular programs at the library and now there is a similar program available for adults 21 years and older! Critically acclaimed movies newly released on DVD, with special emphasis on films previously unavailable to local theater audiences, will be shown in the library’s event room for adults to enjoy and discuss together. Popcorn will be provided. The inaugural film is Room, nominated for numerous awards and adapted from the bestselling novel of the same name by Emma Donohue. This film is rated R for language.
