ABB Board Meets to Launch Summer Kickoff Plans

The Associated Businesses of Bridgeport board met February 29 to begin planning for the 2024 Summer Kickoff and Food Truck Festival.
Featuring live entertainment, children and family activities, a cruise-in car show and, of course, food trucks of various specialties, will be held Saturday, June 1 in downtown Bridgeport. Main Street will be closed for festivities which will take place 5-8 p.m.
Current ABB members are encouraged to get involved by sponsoring the event and/or setting up a business tent to host an activity. ABB member businesses interested can contact Hilary Gonzalez at 304-677-1970.
Any business which pays B&O taxes to the City of Bridgeport is eligible to join the ABB, which also hosts the Scarecrow Display and Contest in October and Light Up Night in December. Contact Gonzalez for a membership application.
Food trucks must sign up to receive an assigned location on Main Street. Contact Lisa Lang at 304-290-8636. Those who would like to show off their cars at the Cruise-In can contact Doug Marquette at 304-641-4332.
