Accident on Route 279 Bridge Sends One to Hospital

According to WDTV, One person was taken to the hospital after crashing Wednesday morning in Bridgeport.
911 dispatchers said it happened on the bridge of Route 279 between the North and Southbound ramps of I-79.
The calls came in around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday. Crews were on scene directing traffic from the road to the interstate, as the accident caused a traffic backup.
The 911 media log shows that the matter is being handled by the Bridgeport Police Department.
