After Successful Soft Opening, Winnie's Juice Bar Opens Doors with Regular Hours

In 2015, Brandi Starkey Post opened the doors of Main Street Fitness. In early-2017, she announced an expansion and by year’s end had 
doubled space for her always-evolving lineup of fitness classes. Last summer, she announced she would again expand her business venture to include the establishment of Winnie's Juice Bar.

The doors have opened and patrons have frequented Main Street's newest business during its soft opening this past week. The bright, urban atmosphere is home to healthy specialties including salads, sandwiches, protein shakes, smoothies and juices.
Winnie's was inspired by Post's grandparents, Ronald and Linda "Winnie" Starkey, who have been a very important part of her life.
“They just always taught me to be a hard worker – to really work hard for what I have and I believe I am where I am today because of them,” she said. “I was very close to them and recently lost them both very close together.”
After experiencing success at Main Street Fitness, Post said she realized there was a need for a place that provided healthy nutrient-rich options for the community.
Many items on the menu were inspired by Post and her husband Daniel’s travels.
“Whenever we would travel to Pennsylvania or anywhere out of state, we would go somewhere where they had juices and protein shakes and convenient, fast, to-go food; protein-packed carbs and healthy fats,” she said. “There really aren’t any options around here really.”
All Winnie's juices are fresh, organic, and packed with antioxidants and micronutrients.Among grab-and-go options prepared fresh daily will be natural and organic hummus, vegetables, peanut butter, cage-free eggs, yogurt parfaits, avocado toast and oatmeal with choice of toppings.
“And for those looking to refuel after a strenuous workout, Winnie’s has homemade protein-packed shakes, smoothies and bars,” Post said.
One of just a few juice bars in West Virginia, Winnie’s offers allergy-friendly options.
The Main Street business is open 9 a.m. through 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
