Kevin "Cracker" Taylor, 41 of Bridgeport, was killed in May 2014 after being hit head on by a car that lost control.

"I talked to him about 20 minutes before the accident happened, come down my road there's five cars stopped I stopped my bike got off, walked up to the cruiser and it was a motorcycle accident, and it was Cracker," said Teresa Conley, close friend of Taylor.

Taylor was hit on Sardis/Katy Lick Road where friends and family have created a memorial for him.

Taylor left behind, a grandson, daughter, mother, siblings and several friends. It hasn't been easy the past year, but his family and friends are starting a campaign in the hopes to strengthen traffic laws to help protect motorcyclist and other fatal crash victims.
