By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on March 31, 2024 via Connect-Bridgeport.com

Classic jazz and familiar melodies from the Great American Songbook, together with cuisine inspired by the Greenbrier Resort, make up the bill of fare coming to Bridgeport’s Music On Main on Friday, April 26.

Presented by the West Virginia Jazz Society (WVJS) and billed as “An American Jazz Experience”, the show features Maddy Winer, a NYC-born jazz chanteuse, and West Virginia native, Vince Lewis, the Greenbrier Resort’s guitarist, performing the music they’ve mastered over decades of entertaining audiences in high-end resorts and luxury hotels like Miami’s Fountainbleu. Completing the evening’s quintet are “first call” artists Steve Rudolph on piano, Bob Bowen on bass, and Mark Cappellini on drums.

With just 40 seats available, the up-close-and-personal audience experience will be enhanced by a small bites buffet from Greenbrier Resort recipes including seared scallops on red onion marmalade, caramelized brie, and Greenbrier ham quiche.

A display of Julian’s Homemade Candy is also included.

Reserved seating at $55 per person is available by text to 304-517-9813, or via email to: WVJazzSocietyNOW@gmail.com.

Students 18 and under can attend at no charge when accompanied by an adult ticket holder.
