Appointments Not Needed at State DMV Branches

According to MetroNews, no services at West Virginia Division of Motor Vehicles offices require an appointment at this time.

Adam Holley, the agency’s general counsel, spoke to lawmakers on Sunday about services amid the pandemic, which had been altered to limit the spread of the virus.

“In the past, over the last year when we were dealing with the pandemic, we had some services by appointment only. But we have not had an appointment-only scenario in quite some time unless we’ve had an office that’s gone to half-staff because of COVID,” he said.

Holley said in situations when an office’s workforce is limited, services will be appointment only.
