Attorney General Morrisey Announces September Mobile Office Hours In Harrison County

 Attorney General Patrick Morrisey announced today that a consumer representative from the Attorney General’s Office will conduct mobile office hours during September throughout north-central West Virginia. The representative will be available to discuss the latest scams the Office has noticed in the state and provide consumers with tips to protect their personal, identifiable information.
 
Pam Krushansky, a consumer outreach and compliance specialist with the Office, will host the mobile office hours, which are scheduled below:

  • 10 -11 a.m. Sept. 1 at the Taylor County Senior Center, Rt. 119 & 250, Grafton;
  • 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sept. 3 at the Barbour Senior Day Booth at the Barbour County Fair Grounds, Belington;
  • 10-11 a.m. Sept. 9 at the Preston County Commission Annex, 106 W. Main St., Kingwood;
  • Noon-1 p.m. Sept. 9 at the Terra Alta Town Hall, 701 A E. State Ave., Terra Alta;
  • 2-3 p.m. Sept. 9 at the Tunnelton Town Hall, Tunnelton;
  • 10-11 a.m. Sept. 10 at the Tucker County Senior Center, 206 Third St., Parsons;
  • 11 a.m.-noon Sept. 15 at the Marion County Senior Center, 1 Senior Dr., Mannington;
  • 1-2 p.m. Sept. 15 at the Marion County Library, 321 Monroe St., Fairmont;
  • 1-2 p.m. Sept. 16 at the Morgantown Library, 373 Spruce St., Morgantown;
  • 1-2 p.m. Sept. 17 at the Harrison County Library, 404 W. Pike St., Clarksburg;
  • 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Sept. 18 at the Senior Monongalian's Expo Booth, Morgantown Mall, Morgantown;
  • 10-11 a.m. Sept. 14 at Keyser City Hall, 111 Davis St., Keyser;
  • 10-11 a.m. Sept. 23 at the Lewis County Senior Center, 171 W. 2nd St., Weston;
  • 10-11 a.m. Sept. 24 at the Upshur County Senior Center, 28 N. Kanawha St., Buckhannon; and
  • 10-11 a.m. Sept. 28 at the Barbour County Senior Center, 47 Church St., Philippi.

“Every month our Office conducts mobile office hours throughout the state to engage with local consumers in their home communities,” Attorney General Morrisey said. “These mobile office hours allow consumers to learn more about the Office, consumer protection issues and the scams they need to be cautious about.”
 
The mobile office hours are open to the public; reservations are not required.
