MEMBERS OF THE ALL-SPORTS BOOSTERS BOARD OF DIRECTORS advise that memberships are still being accepted and they encourage all parents of BHS student athletes and residents to get on board and support the Tribe through a $25 membership fee. However, due to current construction of a new Johnson Elementary School, there are less parking spaces in front of Wayne Jamison Field available and spaces are sold out. Dear Parents and Friends: 

 

The Bridgeport High School All-Sports Boosters are holding their annual membership drive for the 2017-2018 school year. Membership dues are $25 per family. We are encouraging ALL friends and parents of BHS athletes to join. Names of members joining by August 12 will be included in the Bridgeport Indians football program. 

 

Membership entitlements include: an invitation to attend monthly meetings and become an active participant in the BHS All-Sports Boosters; the opportunity to purchase discount season passes for all home regular season football games (Varsity, Junior Varsity & Freshmen); the opportunity to purchase a parking pass to park in the front lot of Wayne Jamison Field and it is valid for all regular-season home varsity football games (NO LONGER AVAILABLE); and the opportunity for your senior student athlete to apply for the BHS All-Sports Boosters Scholarships. 

 

The LIVE Streaming Event Package from NFHS network will be offered at a significant DISCOUNT! As this is our second year for this service and not every BHS Sports Event can be broadcasted. We are continuing negotiations at this time to broadcast additional events (such as Away Varsity Football games, BHS Band concerts, and BHS Dance Ensemble Recital). What we can offer our members this year is 5 Home Varsity Football games, 5 Home Boys Varsity Soccer games, 5 Home Girls Varsity Soccer games, and possibly a few Varsity Volleyball games in the Fall Season. Winter Season sports broadcasts will include 5 Home Boys Varsity Basketball games, 5 Home Girls Varsity Basketball games, and Spring Season will include 5 Home Varsity Baseball games, and 5 Home Varsity Softball games. Playoff games if covered by the NFHS network would be included in your Package at no additional cost. So if you can’t be there to watch the Indians in person you can still see the game LIVE on your computer, tablet, or phone. Your membership includes an access code good for 3 devices and provides access to any NFHS broadcast of high school events across the country. Regular membership to this network is $9.99 per month (so August through June would be $109.89), BHS rates for Non-Sports Boosters members will be $55 for any individual season or $85 for 2017-2018 Annual Pass including Fall, Winter and Spring Seasons. The BHS All-Sports Boosters Member price is $30 for any individual season and $50 for the 2017-2018 Annual Pass including Fall, Winter and Spring Seasons. Last year the Boosters raised over $30,000 with their memberships, concession sales and various other fundraisers. The money funds ALL sports at BHS: to pay for meals for student athletes traveling to out-of-county sporting events; to pay ticket and game workers for both football and basketball games; to fund the Larry Burner Memorial Scholarship; to fund BHS All-Sports Boosters Athletic Scholarships annually and to maintain the concession stands. An annual donation is made to the general athletic fund of Bridgeport High School.
