The Bridgeport High School Alumni and Friends Foundation is pleased to announce it's eighth Hall of Fame Class.  The class includes Pam Hotsinpiller, Dan McNamee, Jim McDonald and Curtis Fleming.  The four will be recognized during the East Fairmont football game on Friday, September 26 and will be honored at the annual Hall of Fame dinner the following evening at 6 p.m. at the high school cafeteria.

Pam Hotsinpiller taught classes for special needs students for 35 years.  She has been on the staff of the Harrison County Parent/Educator Resource Center for 30 years.  The center promotes positive relationships between parents and school personnel.  She serves as secretary for the Hotsinpiller Scholarship Fund and as a committee member for the Derek Hotsinpiller Fallen Stars 5K Memorial Race.

Both of her sons graduated from Bridgeport High School.  Dustin is currently a Deputy United States Marshal serving the Northern District of West Virginia.  Derek was also a Deputy with the Marshal's Service who was fatally wounded serving an arrest warrant in 2011.

Dan McNamee is a member of the Class of 1998.  He and his family moved to Bridgeport when he was 10 years old. He played football, basketball and baseball throughout school.
Dan was injured in his first varsity football game during his sophomore year, breaking his c5-c6 vertebrae.  He graduated from BHS as a National Honor Student and was the first recipient of the Wayne Jamison Scholarship.  During the "50 Years of Football" celebration, Dan was named the "Champion of Champions".

Dan graduated from Marshall University with a double major in Management Information Systems and Business Management.  He is an accountant for Pikeville, KY Medical Center.  Dan lives in Pikeville with his wife, Nikki.

Jim McDonald is a member of the Class of 1956.  He played football, basketball and baseball during his time at BHS.  He went on to star in basketball at WV Wesleyan, leading the nation in scoring in his senior year.  In 1962 he was hired by Edinboro University to be their first head basketball coach.  He later became the school's athletic director.

He currently directs a non-profit organization called "Meeting God in Missions.”

Jim married Mary Lou Hetz in 1959.  Together they have three sons, 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandsons.

Curtis Fleming is a 1984 graduate of BHS.  He earned a degree in industrial psychology from Fairmont State and pursued a master's degree in special education at the University of Virginia and Old Dominion University.  From 1991 to 2003, Fleming worked at Timber Ridge School, a residential treatment unit.  He eventually was responsible for crisis management, curriculum and acted as a behavior modification specialist.

He earned a "Teacher of the Year" honor in 2002.  Fleming has also worked at CFW Regional Adult Detention Center in Winchester, VA as a program coordinator in charge of screening, testing and identifying inmates who might need special education services.

In 2006, Fleming's love of the outdoors led him to become executive producer and host of the "Fly Rod Chronicles with Curtis Fleming", a national award-winning show that airs on the Outdoor Channel.  He has been included in the "55 Best Things to Happen to WV."  Fleming is married to the former Shelly Bibey.
