Bridgeport High School Assistant Principal and Athletic Director Mark Jones would like to offer a reminder about the attendance guideline for sporting events while Harrison County is yellow on the Department of Education color warning map.

The yellow warning means that only parents will be permitted to attend events.

For Friday’s football game against Liberty, parents of all football players, cheerleaders and band members will be allowed to attend. Parents are asked to bring with them the yellow pass provided by the Bridgeport High School administration.

All tickets much be purchased in advance through SchoolCash, which can be found at the Harrison County Board of Education website HERE

For Friday’s football game, parents are reminded to enter through the gates closest to the concession stand and Johnson Elementary.

Gates will open at 6 p.m., one hour before kickoff. There will be no tailgaiting allowed on school grounds.

For fans not allowed to attend Friday night’s game, it will be streamed live on the NFHS network.

The same policy for attendance and purchasing of tickets will be in place for Thursday’s soccer matches at Liberty, Saturday’s soccer matches at home against Lewis County and Saturday’s home volleyball match.

The yellow guidelines are in place through at least Saturday. The week of Sept. 14-Sept. 19 will be based on whatever color Harrison County is when the map is updated at 5 p.m. Saturday.
