FROM BHS PRINCIPAL MATT DEMOTTO:
Bridgeport High School seniors may choose their parking spot and pay for their pass Monday, August 15 from 1 pm to 2 pm at BHS. Passes are $25 (check made out to BHS or cash) and students must present their driver license and proof of insurance to be eligible for a pass. A parent may pick up a pass if their student can't attend. Alternatively, ONE student may obtain a pass for themselves and ONE other student, but they must show a picture or a copy of the other student's driver license. Students who attend Dual Credit College classes off campus will be assigned a spot in the lot between the high school and Johnson Elementary.
Juniors may select their spot on the same day from 2 pm - 3 pm and the above expectations apply. Sophomores may do so when school starts. They should see Officer Hamrick the first or second day. Larger automobiles (trucks) will utilize a spot in the old gravel lot by the ticket stand for easier navigation.
