BMS Students Participate in West Virginia String Day

Seven Bridgeport Middle School students who excel as members of the BMS band recently took part in West Virginia String Day in 
September.

The event took place on Sept. 30 at Mountaineer Middle School in Morgantown. String Day is sponsored by the West Virginia Chapter of the American String Teachers Association and consists of students in grades 5-12 across the Mountain State.
The event ran from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It concluded with a concert at the end of the day.
Members of BMS, shown in the photo, were Lylah Dearing, Payton Tomes, Emma Hazey, Mara Beverage, Hallie Wolfe, Maddox Tharp, and Sophie Reed.
