The Bridgeport Middle School Volleyball team completed a triumphant season by capturing the Harrison County Championship on October 28 against the Washington Irving Middle School Hilltoppers.  The Lady Braves lead from the first serve and never looked back as they dominated both sets for a clean sweep.  This is the first Bridgeport Middle School volleyball team to capture both the Harrison County Championship and the regional tournament at the Tyler County Knights Volleyball Classic.

 

This was the last middle school game for 8th graders Kristen Crowder, Marinda Griffith, Ashley Goots, Juliet Hart, Macie Lemons, Eleanor Noone, Hannah Spurlock, Katelyn Stanley and Samantha Wilson.   Next year’s team will be anchored by 7th graders Alicia Betarie, Sarah Marano and Payton Merica.  The 6th grade class has a strong core and consists of Mea Avolio, Brinn Axton, Julia Griffith, Virginia Noone, Addison Phillips, and Emma Romano.  This was Coach Stephanie Anderson’s second Harrison County Championship.
