Balloons Over Morgantown 2022 takes place today, Sept. 29 through Sunday, Oct. 2. The action starts at 7 p.m. today with the traditional "NightGlow" balloon launch at Morgantown Mall. Early arrival is recommended. NightGlow will be centered in front of the WVU Medicine Building (formerly Sears). 

 

Remaining balloon launches will take place 8 a.m. Friday, Sept. 30, 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1 and 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, and 8 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 2. All launches will be from the Morgantown Airport, near the main runway. Although non-crew members are not permitted in the launch area, there are fences where the balloons will be visible. All launches are dependent on weather and wind conditions.
