Blount to Resign from CENTRA Board; Lopez Assumes Interim Director's Role

Former Bridgeport Mayor Mario Blount, who recently pleaded guilty to a trio of felony drug counts in federal court, announced he will be formally resigning fromo the CENTRA Board of Directors, according to a report from WDTV.
 
The information came out during an executive board meeting to address the loss of general manager John Aman. Aman, last month, was sentenced to 21 months in prison for bank fraud. Aman, the board decided, will have his job waiting for him when his prison term is complete.
