Authorities say the body of a 56-year-old man who went hiking last week has been found in a national park in West Virginia.

 

According to the National Park Service, search crews were sent after George Andrew Gross of Pittsburgh was reported missing over the weekend. He told family members he planned to hike in and around the New River Gorge National River on Friday afternoon and didn't contact them later.
