Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, the City of Bridgeport's offices will be closed to allow staff to spend time with their families.

 

As usual, the city's police and fire department will be staffed during the holiday to help make sure the community is able to remain safe. The Bridge will also have modified hours, closing at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23 and being closed Thanksgiving Day. It will open at 7 a.m. on Friday, and then resume standard hours on Saturday and beyond.

 

The Bridgeport Public Library as well as the offices of Bridgeport Parks and Recreation located at the Benedum Civic Center will be closed Thanksgiving Day until Monday, Nov. 28 with regular hours starting that day.

 

Regular operations will resume at the Bridgeport Municipal Complex on Monday, Nov. 28.
