Bridgeport City Park will be closed to the public Saturday, June 24 for Bridgeport Arts Council’s Sound Waves and IPAs Craft Beer and Music Festival. According to Parks and Recreation Director Don Burton, the City Park parking lot will close at 9 a.m., but residents are welcome to walk into the park facility and walk trails, etc. until 12 noon, when the park will be closed through approximately 9 or 10 p.m., the projected time for the event to conclude.
