Bridgeport Police Department and Clarksburg Police Department participated in National Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday. Residents were invited to properly and safely dispose of unused prescription drugs. The event is sponsored annually by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration. Between 2010 and 2014, the DEA collected over 2,400 tons of unwanted drugs. Those who missed Saturday's event can dispose of unwanted drugs anytime at the drug incinerator located at Bridgeport Police Department at Bridgeport Municipal Building.
