Senator Joe Manchin visited Bridgeport High School on Thursday, February 23rd. He honored five Harrison county students who had been nominated to attend U.S. service academies. Senator Manchin also discussed with the student body challenges that had been ailing Washington and the entire country. When interviewed after the event, he advocated for the importance of activism and education among West Virginia youth.
