Bridgeport Police Arrest Lumberport Woman on Drug Charges who is New York Times, USA Today Author

According to WDTV, a local best-selling author is now facing drug charges out of Harrison County.
 
Bridgeport Police arrested Kelly Ann Sycoc, 28, of Lumberport on Wednesday.
 
According to the criminal complaint, officers conducted a traffic stop in the southbound lanes of I-79 near mile marker 123 for an improper lane change. According to officers, there was a strong odor of marijuana that came from the vehicle. A k-9 unite from the Harrison County Sheriff's Office was deployed to conduct a free air sniff which resulted in a positive indication.
 
Police told us they searched the car and found multiple baggies containing a crystal-like substance, digital scales, plastic baggies used for packaging, and other powder-like substances not yet identified were found inside the car.
